Following the Black Coffee Foundation’s Music Conference & Exhibition set to be held on 28 November, the Foundation proudly presents the Black Coffee Benefit Concert, taking place on Saturday, 29 November 2025 at Melrose Arch in Johannesburg. This landmark event will feature a fully dedicated Africa Is Not A Jungle stage, continuing the movement’s legacy of spotlighting African electronic music, creativity, and cultural innovation on a global scale.

Presented in partnership with Smirnoff Ice and Don Julio and supported by Gauteng Tourism, Nando’s and Nivea, the Black Coffee Benefit Concert stands as a powerful extension of the Foundation’s mission – leveraging music, culture, and community to create meaningful change. The concert brings together a dynamic and star-studded lineup that embodies Africa’s music evolution. Fans can look forward to an extraordinary blend of trailblazers including headline DJ and Grammy Award–winner Black Coffee; electrifying genre disruptors 2woBunnies; sonic shapeshifter Asvnte; rising dance architect Breetz; hitmaker Ciza; global gqom pioneer DJ Lag; the legendary DJ Merlon; amapiano royal Kabza De Small; world-touring superstars Major League DJz; dynamic selector Tirhani; and international culture-shifter Uncle Waffles. Together, these artists represent a vibrant cross-section of African music’s past, present, and future.

The Benefit Concert serves not only as a night of world-class entertainment but as a vibrant day of creativity and cultural celebration. Audiences will experience fashion, art, music, and storytelling, brought to life through visual showcases, live performances, and a special Grade Africa pop-up, offering attendees a chance to immerse themselves in contemporary African streetwear. The Black Coffee Benefit concert with the Africa Is Not A Jungle stage, promises to be a full-day journey celebrating the rhythm, soul, and imagination of African creatives.

This Johannesburg edition comes on the heels of the sold-out Durban Africa Is Not A Jungle edition, which drew thousands of fans and reaffirmed the movement’s cultural impact. The overwhelming response in Durban set the tone for audiences to expect yet another unforgettable display of artistic excellence, global-standard production, and uncompromising musical quality. The Benefit Concert aims to carry that momentum forward, offering fans an elevated and deeply immersive experience that celebrates African innovation at its finest.

Tickets for the Black Coffee Benefit Concert are available through Howler, and demand has been exceptionally high – with the show already at capacity. Fans wishing to attend are strongly encouraged to secure their tickets as soon as possible before the event sells out.

Be sure to follow the Black Coffee Foundation, as more exciting announcements are to be made!
