From the hypnotic Afro-house rhythm of “Osama” and the emotionally charged “Push Me to the Floor” to the soulful groove of “Who Cares” and the widely beloved hit “Back to the Beach,” Casalinga in Johannesburg came alive on Saturday as some of South Africa’s top musical talents took the stage for the inaugural Jetour Festival.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Muldersdrift, the premier outdoor venue welcomed over 3,000 attendees for a celebration of music, food, fun, and motoring. Hundreds of Jetour vehicles were proudly on display, reflecting the brand’s growing presence in South Africa.

Another attendee praised the lively atmosphere and memorable giveaways, adding, “Jetour really knows how to throw a party!”
The event marked Jetour South Africa’s largest customer day to date, bringing together customers, dealers, suppliers, staff, and media. The entertainment lineup featured Grammy Award-winning artist Zakes Bantwini, renowned indie rock band The Parlotones, popular house trio Mi Casa, and acclaimed Pop/R&B singer Shekhinah.
Radio station 947 amplified the energy with a live outside broadcast, hosted by the charismatic Zweli Mbhele, well-known for his show Afternoons with Zweli. After the live performances, the party continued with a dynamic DJ set from Vin Deysel, who kept the crowd dancing into the evening with the latest hits.
Adding to the excitement was a series of high-value prize giveaways, including a Vivo smartphone, a weekend getaway from ANEW Hotels & Resorts, and the grand prizea full year with a Jetour vehicle.

The festival also served as the official launch of the Jetour Owner’s Club in South Africa a global community for enthusiasts who appreciate craftsmanship, performance, and the unique lifestyle that comes with owning a Jetour.

Jetour officially entered the South African market in September 2024 with the launch of the 5-seater Jetour Dashing and the 7-seater Jetour X70 Plus, introducing its “Travel+” philosophy a fusion of travel, music, lifestyle, and adventure aimed at enriching the driving experience. With sales exceeding expectations, the brand is set to expand further with the upcoming launch of two new SUV models: the Jetour T1 and Jetour T2, expected later this year.
