Adult Occupant Protection: Leapmotor B10 achieved 93% for Adult Occupant Protection, scoring 37.3 points out of 40 thanks to its excellent frontal crash protection and maximum points in side impact tests.
The Leapmotor B10 demonstrated excellent structural integrity and occupant protection in Euro NCAP tests. The passenger compartment remained stable in frontal offset impacts, with excellent protection for knees and femurs of both front occupants. Similar protection is assured for occupants of varying sizes and positions. Full-width rigid barrier tests showed high protection for the driver and adequate for rear passengers. Side barrier and side pole tests scored maximum points, confirming strong lateral protection.
Child Safety: Leapmotor B10 achieved 93% for Child Occupant Protection and 46.0 points out of 49, including superior crash test results for 6- and 10-year-old dummies and advanced features such as ISOFIX/i-Size and child presence detection.
The Leapmotor B10 provided excellent child safety in Euro NCAP tests, scoring maximum points for frontal offset and side barrier impacts with 6- and 10-year-old dummies. The front passenger airbag can be deactivated for rearward-facing child seats, with clear status information for the driver. The vehicle includes a direct child presence detection system that warns if a child is left inside, and all approved child restraints can be correctly installed and accommodated.
For Vulnerable Road Users, the B10 scored 84%, supported by advanced Autonomous Emergency Braking systems that respond to pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists, including cyclist dooring prevention.
Safety Assist technologies earned 85%, with 15.4 points out of 18 for features like Intelligent Speed Assistance, Lane Keep Assist, Emergency Lane Keeping, and direct driver monitoring to detect fatigue and distraction. Overall, the performance of the autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system was good in tests of its reaction to other vehicles. The car has a direct driver status monitoring system as standard, detecting driver fatigue and some types of distraction. The lane support system gently corrects the vehicle’s path if it is drifting out of lane and also intervenes in some more critical situations.
